The Rotary Club of Downtown Auckland in association with Milford Asset Management, are hosting a major fundraiser - a black tie debate on Tuesday 13 August 2019 at the Cordis Hotel, with the moot being “Can a Working Port & Auckland City Co-exist?".  One team comprises three lawyers - Kathryn Beck, Katherine Anderson and Michael Timmins and the other team is a carefully selected group of 'Celebrities' - Sir John Key, Tom Scott and David Downs.  Debate adjudicators are QC’s Simon Moore and Lynton (Lyn) Stevens and MC for the evening is Miriama Kamo.  This is a fundraiser for the 'Auckland City Mission HomeGround Project’ and the evening will also include an auction, a silent auction and a raffle.  Tickets are $250 per person or $2500 for a table of 10, which includes arrival canapés, 3 course dinner and drinks.  Tickets can be purchased from Gill at gillj.downtownrotary@gmail.com or 021 278 9915
