This Monday is our last meeting for the year. Thank you for your support of the Club throughout 2019. I am happy to report that we raised $21,500 funds from the WPPE Exhibition, which is our major fund raising project for the year. These funds will be contributed to the Club's commitment to our major Centenary Project - Give Every Child A Future. This was a great effort and every dollar counts in the cause to immunise children of the Pacific.
This weeks speaker is Roger King from Auckland City Mission. Thank you if you have already donated a Christmas gift to our collection for the ACM, if you would like to donate a present please bring it along to the Monday meeting.
Just as we break for the summer holiday we remind you that the first meeting of 2020 will be the week after Waitangi Day - Monday 10th February.
Next Monday’s speaker is David Johnson, who is the Project Director for Precinct Properties New Zealand Ltd. David is involved with the Commercial Bay development at the bottom of Queen Street, which will bring together the largest concentration of high quality retail and food and beverage in the city, a luxury hotel and the striking new PwC Tower. This will provide a world class commercial space, public transport, international quality retail, public spaces and hospitality environments, as well as striking urban design.

It is that time of year again to think about getting organised for Christmas and what better way to start, than by ordering some Rotary Christmas Puddings, whether for yourself or to donate to a worthy cause, or both. These puddings are still $20 each, with $5 being donated to our Club, so please contact me if you would like to place an order – they can be purchased in any quantity (and come in cartons of six). And if you would like to donate some to a worthy cause, we will be giving any pudding donations this year to the Auckland City Mission. Please contact Jacqui in the office to place your order.
