For the last 15 years New Zealand Rotary has been a big supporter of BeyondWater, a charity that provides clean drinking water and sanitation facilities across East Africa (http://www.beyondwater.global/). You are invited to ‘Under the African Skies’ at the Uxbridge Centre in Howick on Friday 18 November 2022 – a celebration of the 240,000 people who now have daily access to clean water and sanitation facilities. Entry is $20pp, which covers all food and drinks at this dessert evening – including Kenyan coffee and teas, as well as gluten and dairy free desserts. Their team from the 2022 Pedal Against Poverty NZ tour will be there, sharing how their journey from Cape Reinga to Wellington is going.
